Portugal Masters 2010

I went to watch Sunday of the Portugal Masters held at Victoria Golf Course here in Vilamoura. I got a few pics from a distance until the marshals got diligent about cameras. The players had great weather for the tournament and Lee Westwood ended up winning at 23 under and took home a purse of 500,000 euros.

Found a New Beach

Matt went exploring in the Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo area during my Portuguese lesson and found The Praia de Ancao (pronounced an-cow) which we had heard about but had not found the right road to get us there. The beach is great and has a few beach restaurants along it near the golf course areas of Quinta and Vale do Lobo. We had lunch at the VdL restaurant at the end of our walk. We had an awesome afternoon at the beach in October.

All full up, had a yummy lunch and drinks with a great view from the beach restaurant at the Vale do Lobo entrance to the beach.

Paris Trip

Matt and I went to Paris for a week in September and had an amazing trip. Paris is a beautiful city. We flew from Faro to Gatwick London and then had a stressful flying cab ride to the train station in central London trying to catch our train (with non-refundable tickets) on time after a delay at the airport. WE MADE IT! Then we took the Eurostar train under the English channel to Paris.

We went on a river tour on the Seine and got to see the sites again, no walking or stairs this time.
