Back in Portugal!

Golf at Quinta da Ria
Vilamoura Marina
Hi Gang,

We have arrived in Portugal all in one piece! The first few days have been getting settled and recuperating a bit. Matt has had a long, busy hitch at work and I am getting over the jet-lag. It seems there are not enough hours in the day to catch up on sleep and get a few errands done. This is the only time I cannot stay awake past 6 or 7 pm, which is not conducive to getting changed over to the right time zone but it gets better every day.

We've been busy looking for an apartment and we have a couple of front runners but a few more to look at yet. Next weekend is the Portugal Masters at the Victoria Club in Vilamoura, so we have tickets to go and watch for a couple days, it should be great!

It has been great to come back to the Vilamoura area, it feels very comfortable and we have already run into some familiar faces. We went golfing with the golf society on Saturday at Quinta da Ria and had a wonderful day. Matt has been squeezing in some school work too and is in his last week of his course, he is counting down the days, this has been a tough 8 weeks but it is almost over.

The weather has been really good since we got here, in the mid to high 20’s. We got lucky on our arrival time; the weekend before we arrived there was a bad storm which caused some chaos and damage in some areas but it has been great since.
It has been fun touring around and getting reaquainted with familiar surroundings and people but we miss all of you at home. Talk to you soon.
